Gobby Girls Sketch Show began as a collaboration between GOBBY GIRL PRODUCTIONS, FEMALE PILOT CLUB and FUNNY WOMEN.
Starting with a 6 night, sold out, run at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2025, the 11% Club was a satirical take on why women shouldn't be allowed to do comedy on TV. Named after the fact that only 11% of sitcoms are written by women, the show was a celebration of truly funny women.
Written, performed, produced and directed by women only (imagine that). All the writers and cast were recruited through open submissions via our female only communities. It's a truly wonderful and diverse (and funny!) gang.
Following the success at Edinburgh was another sold out run. This time at the Soho Theatre.
